Disney Fantasy

The latest ship to enter into service for the Disney Cruise Lines is almost ready to begin receiving passengers. Built in the same style as its sister ships the Disney Fantasy takes cues from the grand age of Ocean liners and combines it with the whimsy of Disney. However, the Disney Fantasy is not a carbon copy of the Disney Dream and features many of the same amenities but some of their own.

Restaurants

Animator’s Palate was designed to, as the name suggests, look like an animator’s studio.
Cabana’s is an indoor/outdoor casual restaurant that features fresh foods.
The Enchanted Garden was inspired by the gardens of Versailles with a sky that changes according to day.
Palo and Remy, the Italian and French themed restaurants, are adults only and are not a part of the regular rotation.

Lobby

Nightclub

The new nightclub district, aptly named Europa, connects the various European styled bars and clubs. Including:

La Piazza: This Adults only lounge with an Italian theme has a bar modeled after a carousel.

O’Gills Pub: The name says it all. O’Gills Pub is an Irish bar offering streamed live sporting events.

The Tube: Think chic, London underground bar with mod furniture and Union Jack colors.

Ooh La La : Is the French boudoir themed bar.

Pools

The Aquaduck Water Coaster is the wildly popular transparent waterslide that extends over the side of the ship, through the forward funnel, and drops down 4 decks.

Aquadeck

The AquaLab, another new feature to the Disney Fantasy, and is a family friendly pool. With various water experiments the Aqualab has 3 aqua stations that lets kids control the speed and temperature of the AquaDuck water coaster.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

The Fantasy is the first ship to offer the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where girls can receive a princess makeover and boys can get the pirate experience. Also, unique to the Disney Fantasy, is the Pirate Party Nights where the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is transformed into a pirate hideaway where guests can partake in their own Pirates of the Caribbean.

Spa

Like previous Disney ships the Fantasy offers a full service spa and fitness center and, in the usual Disney fashion, it also offers a teen’s only spa. The Chill Spa was built especially for teenagers age 13-17 years old and offers a Hot Chocolate Wrap featuring a massage and an antioxidant rich Body Wrap or the oddly self explanatory Ice Cream manicure and Pedicure.

Besides the new features many of the popular and interesting features of previous ships are, as previously mentioned, incorporated in the Disney Fantasy. Staterooms onboard the Fantasy are family friendly with even inside staterooms featuring a live feed of the ocean outside, a wide range of entertainment activities including an onboard movie theater and Broadway styled shows, and a combination of venues for families, kids, and adults.
